Miss Tourism Ghana UK (MTGUK)
Miss Tourism Ghana UK is new to the UK organised by Ghana Society UK, a replica of Miss Tourism Ghana organised by MIss Tourism Ghana Organisation, Ministry of Tourism and Ghana Tourist Authority. It is a fresh perspective borne on a platform for our young ladies to become acquainted with the various tourist trends and sites in Ghana; to develop their full potential to become Ghana’s Tourism Ambassadors; to market and to promote tourism both locally and internationally alongside the tourism promotional programmes of the government and other stakeholders. It is positive, vibrant and empowering our young ladies for the future.
The Ghana Centre for Carnival Arts
The Ghana Centre for Carnival Arts in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism, Ghana Society and UK Centre for Carnival Arts will organize the first ever national Carnival on 29th June 2013. The event is a collaborative effort with our creative partners, namely Miss Tourism, Ghana, Culture Arts Ltd UK , Berlin Carnival Club, Ghana Caribbean Association, African Footprint Legends Denmark, as well as Ghana Union Folklore of Drumming & Dancing.
The Carnival amongst others is aimed at diversifying the country’s tourism and cultural products, as well as developing creative arts and education as a tool to create employment and income opportunities for Ghanaians.
